IKIGAI model

Ikigai: Japanse secret for a long, happy life.

Ikigai in organizations

Ikigai is a Japanese philosophy about what makes life worth living.

We use the Ikigai model to discover what makes the organization valuable during a workshop group session. Together we make personal and shared ideas and insights visible. We use this input to formulate the 'ikigai' of the organization. This then helps formulate the mission, vision and core values as part of the identity.

An Ikigai session leads to a supported mission and vision based on people's passion. It can be part of phase 1 or 2 of the Allura method.

 About IKIGAI
Ikigai is a Japanese philosophy about what makes life worth living. For a person, it represents ‘the reason to get out of bed in the morning’. It is a model that helps in thinking about your personal mission, but can also be a guide for formulating the why in companies.

In our blog on the IKIGAI, you can read more about what IKIGAI is, what it stands for and how it works for organizations that want to formulate what their mission is.
